Are you a Diabetic? Heard about the problems that can be found with your feet...Gangrene, Neuropathy, Pain, Fungus...and a whole encyclopaedia of others worrying problems?

"Who Else Wants To Reduce Complications And Ulcers And To Be In Control Of Their Own Health?"

From: Dominic Hough, BSc, D.Ch
Professional High Risk Specialist Chiropodist

Dear Diabetic Footcare Sufferer,

Let’s get right to the reason why you’re here.  You have heard so much about the problems that Diabetes can cause.  "Amputations", "my feet will fall off", "I will never be able to wear any shoe again"- these are just some of the real comments made by my patients.

Diabetes has got the whole world in a strangle hold. You don't know if to keep your feet off the ground all day, everyday or even dare to walk on the floor.

Many of the patients that walk into my clinic have spent hundreds of dollars on potions, products and clinical care because they have been told to.

On this page you will finally find out what treatment, what advice and ultimately what care you should be getting.

99-100% of our patients never had the quality of care that they should, by right, receive!

It is not to say that there are bad clinicians out there, but at the end of the day you should receive a certain level of care whoever you are. And with that level of care should be education. Out of all the amputations related to Diabetes, up to 80% could have been saved before the patient went under the knife and lost a toe, foot or even their leg. Yes you read that right:

Up to 80% of ALL amputations could have been saved.

By now I suspect that you are thinking, "who on earth are you?".

I am Dominic Hough and I am a UK trained Chiropodist- a footcare specialist

I graduated in 2003 after 3 long years at University, I quickly got a job visiting local Doctors clinics as their "foot specialist"
Within a year I was employed by the National Health Service (NHS) where I saw everything from nail care to bones sticking out of feet.
I quickly rose through the ranks and within 12 months (the quickest rise in the department...ever) I became a member of a high risk team seeing everything that no-one else wanted to see or treat.
I visited hospitals other clinics and helped my colleagues with their patients. I also taught nurses and Doctors about high risk footcare.
Within 2008 my wife and I emigrated to Canada where we set up our own clinic and treated patients in Toronto clinics and hospitals.
We are still there today, you can check out our clinic and our website here: www.ldfootcare.com

College Of Chiropodists Of Ontario Member.

That’s my clinic, “L&D Footcare" People come to see us from the local area and some will drive up to an hour to see us. But that’s not all…

We also have links to other services:

  • Two of the largest nursing organisations in the region refer consistently to us

  • Local Doctors refer their patients to us

  • The hospital sends us patients

  • We are called upon to talk to other health professionals about specific conditions and questions that they might have related to footcare.

Yes, you have Diabetes, Yes, it can affect the feet...but that just doesn't mean you have to be worried.

I bet that you didn't know that there are various types of Diabetics out there. Now I am not talking about Type 1 or 2, but there are measured risk factors and various ways that you can measure how compromised a Diabetic truly is.

This information is widely known to the people "in the know" rather than a clinician who rarely sees Diabetics. To a point where in the UK they used this system and people who were getting  footcare didn't need to come back because they could manage themselves.

All the systems that are in place are designed specifically to help you, the Diabetic...but if you don't know about them then you are going to be so concerned or worried about your feet that sometimes it just gets too much. Then you read scary headlines, talk to people over a coffee listening to horror stories...and that just makes it even worse.

I recently had a patient who came into our clinic frightened out of his wits because he was diagnosed with Neuropathy- no feeling in the feet. He was tearful, he really was. He even stopped his holiday plans because he didn't want to go walking in sandals. We checked him over- in 5 minutes and realised that he didn't have neuropathy...his risk status was reduced and plenty of advice was given (which he never heard of before). The patient walked away with confidence, self esteem, and even brought to him some power over his Diabetes.

Did you know that there are 2 simple techniques to determine if you have any blood or nerve problems?

The most common mistake that most clinicians make- ranging from nurses, Doctors all the way through to even Chiropodists is that they do not know or even realize that there are some very simple methods to making sure that you do not have any blood or nerve problems in your feet. Oh and it isn't any of the following:

  • Using cotton wool

  • Using a modified pin

  • Using their hand to check your pulses

  • Using a tuning fork

  • Using a machine that sends out vibration to your foot

These are the most common methods for testing either your blood or nerves to your feet. Each one comes with a negative reason of why it shouldn't be used...any positives? No, only for the reason is that you get very little information or even repeatable information from the above tests. Oh they do get used, and they are usually widely regarding...problem is they tell us nothing about the 2 main reasons of why you can get problems with your feet.

Listen, I’m not showing you these little secrets and "I do these but these people don't" information power points to inflate my own ego .  I’m showing them to you because I want to show you what’s possible, what you could be missing out on. We now live in a world where Doctors seem to busy and money dictates who gets seen by whom. But with a little bit of professional information and a step-by-step process, there is no reason why you can't be proactive in your own Diabetic foot health without the worry of something going wrong.

I mean, when a patient has to wait over 3 months to be seen by a clinician, sometimes something can go wrong.

Hey, even if you have to wait a day to be seen, because of the nature of the condition, timing is always the key, and that vital bit of knowledge can save your toe, your foot or even your leg.

What we (and research) has noted is that if you give a patient enough knowledge then they will be able to identify problems and immediately act upon them without the initial need to visit expensive clinicians.

This has been demonstrated effectively with the common cold. Years ago, when the general public got a strong cold they used to visit the Doctors for antibiotics to "cure their cold". This went on for many years. However, the common cold is passed on through a virus, not a bacteria- which antibiotics act upon. Public information trickled down and now far fewer people visit the Doctor for "a common cold" and over the counter medication is soaring.

It is the same with the Diabetic foot. Not all problems with the foot require treatment and can easily be treated at home. Some conditions can even be misdiagnosed, and some can be under diagnosed where a hospital visit is vital.

I plan to give you the simple, easy to use systems- giving you all the information you need to know about your Diabetic feet.

What 2 things you need to do straight away
What 3 things you need to do before you buy any socks- even Diabetic socks.
What Diabetes actually does to your feet, how you can stop it from occurring and how you can identify any problem
Why your feet are hot, warm, sweaty...or even dry and cold.
Why a warm foot with a bounding pulse is not the best foot in the world even if your Doctor thinks it is
How to identify and alert someone to a powerful destructive foot problem predominantly affecting Diabetics...that many non-diagnose.
How to reduce Diabetic foot pain and eye blurring without medication
How to properly cut your nails...cutting across is not the way to go
What on earth do you do if you see an ulcer- yes, I will show you how to spot one and care for it while you wait to be seen.

But we just do not stop there...we need to jump one big hurdle first.

I will show you how and what the clinicians should be doing with your feet. This may get a few of them mad, but hey, I am looking out for your Diabetic foot health. These are basic steps which they should follow. I don't want you to be left out of the loop.

You may have questions about a certain aspect of what they are doing, but you maybe are too quiet or don't want to "upset" the clinician with piles of questions. That is where I will help you. I will load you with the correct information and you can take that with you and see if that is what they are doing.

You have a right to ask questions. You have a right to know what someone is doing with your foot...and you have a right to know if what they are doing it proper practise.

We have kept patients over their appointment time explaining what is going on, the treatment methods and the various plans that are going to help them initially and in the long-run. We even give out our email address so that patients can contact us at any time if they have a question. It is just the right thing to do.

So the question is...do you want to save your Diabetic feet today?

Sometimes there is just too much information that is banded around online. Some are written by professionals...in professional language with little concern over the general public...i.e...using language that only a dictionary can understand. Or you have those websites that are created by a computer or someone with no experience in the medical condition.

You must have seen those "cure your Diabetes just like the 78 year old house wife". Some are just dangerous text online that just shouldn't be there...no credentials and just a lot of hot air.

There is very little trust. So when I decided to make my Diabetic footcare information available, I just wanted to help as many Diabetics as much as I could. I knew that my professional background, plus my ability to talk to the general public about medical issues- putting technical terms in "layman's terms" was much needed, especially when my own clinic was obtaining patients who had very little Diabetic footcare information- which was actually putting their feet at risk.

I have put everything down that you need to know covering the basics of Diabetic footcare all the way through to how you can prevent and treat problems before they become a major concern.

A simple yet complete Diabetes footcare turn-key information guide? I believe I have created just that.

So we are not just talking about:

  • A multiple amount of hints, tips and information points to help you manage your Diabetic feet, but

  • Information regarding your care from other health professionals.

I have also included quick and easy print-outables. Sometimes you just don't have a reference guide when you need one. I hate searching through text to find a sentence that could be the key to what I want to know.

Simple, easy print-ables for your convenience.

  • How to detect a hypo-glycaemic attack.

  • How to detect a hyper-glycaemic attack

  • 10 point check list to choose the proper footwear

  • 7 point Diabetic footcare check list.

Even better, my information is not it's not a pile of rehashed “stuff” thrown at you, and you’re forced to wade through tons of regurgitated information.

No, my information has been written by me, has been used by me and has been added to through training, experience and conferences...giving you the most up-to-date information possible.

In fact, I think you'll be ABSOLUTELY AMAZED by what you have been missing out on...

A glossary of terms- detailing even more information about "medical terms" that are common with Diabetes, broken down into "everyday language"
The 11 most frequently asked questions that our clinic finds. We wrote them all down and answered them as plainly and truthfully as possible. You may not like the answers, but giving you the facts rather than a watered down version is our goal.
How to properly dress and take care of any problem that you may find on your feet.
How to take care of any dressing that you might have been given...this is gold because it is information that the clinician should have given you also it is information that will rapidly heal most foot wounds.
The basics of Diabetes...knowing what causes it and what other factors contribute to high blood sugars can really reduce the risk of serious complications in later life- oh, and food is not one of the factors.
Apart from my site, the 3 other sites that every Diabetic should know and use.
The signs of reduced blood supply within your feet- no you don't need to check the pulse.
Completely free Glucose Tracking Software helping you, and your Doctor, track your glucose over meal times, through the week and even throughout the year. Simply by point and click.

I know that you need this, I know that you do not have this information...so how much is this going to "cost me"?

When you visit a clinician it's not cheap is it? At $60 for a half an hour consultation...additional questions can really add up!

I know that if I charged $47 for this information, I would be making a loss. The time, effort, all add up.

But the truth is, most people who we see simply do not have the $47 lying around. Especially in this economic climate.

So what do I do? I had a serious think and decided to reward people who wanted to know about their own Diabetic footcare...an amazing discounted price.

Hey, if you are willing to go that extra mile and to be proactive in doing something to prevent complication then all I can do is applaud you.

So just for an amazingly small price of $9.95 you can have access to hundreds of dollars worth of information and consultation fees.

I believe it is the best possible "all-in-one" Diabetic footcare safety manual that actually has the patient at the centre of all the pages.

Why So Cheap? Come On...Is This A Scam?

No, it is not a scam. But it will be easier for me to list the reasons:

Ebooks are electronic, they have no paper attached, no printing costs, no storage costs, no publisher, no store to pay...so the savings get filtered down to you.
The more people who read the ebook, the more people who will be helped, the more that will be injected with knowledge that they desperately need to help and even reduce complications later on in life.
Cost is a huge factor in everything we do, especially in these economic climates. I don't want you to miss out on a fantastic care plan just because it is costly...it is unfair for the people who can not afford the realistic asking price.
One lady who came to us said that she had $70 in the bank to last her the rest of the month...one trip to a health professional would wipe out that money...how can we honestly give a health service to all people if we think about our wallets first?

However... I’m going to back it up, too, with --

A RISK-FREE 90-Day 100% Money Back Guarantee

Have a think about it. It's risk free...it's guaranteed.
